OUR DESIGN-DRIVEN PROCESS ENSURES THAT YOU GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT AND THAT YOU KNOW THE COST UP FRONT
A big advantage in using a design-build remodeler is that you know you’ll get exactly what you want—and that you’ll be clear on the cost up front. Here’s how the process works when you deal with Sand County Contracting.
Initial Meeting: We meet with you to determine exactly what you want from your remodeling project and if we’re a good fit for one another. If we both agree it’s a good fit we move on to the next step.
The Design Agreement: Once we know what you want, we’ll sign a design agreement in order to be able to create a specific plan that will deliver the results you want.
We bring in our lead carpenter, our designer, our electrician, and our plumber to draw out the existing property and make sure each of them knows the current status of the home. This helps everyone avoid unforeseen issues from popping up during home construction.
The design/construction crew meets with you to ensure that they have all the details necessary to create the actual plan that will be used during the kitchen, bathroom, or home remodel.
One-to-two weeks later, you will be invited to our showroom in Baraboo, WI for a presentation meeting where we will walk you through CAD floor plans, 3-D drawings, and line item estimates of all the options and materials you’ve selected. You’ll know what the materials, fixtures, and labor (including electrical, plumbing, and finishing) will cost. At that point, a timeline for construction will be set and the contract will be signed.
Home construction begins according to the terms of your contract. Naturally, the specific timetable will depend on the scope of your project. During the course of construction, you will meet regularly with your point of contact.
Shortly before construction is completed, we will do a walk-through to ensure that everything had been done to your satisfaction.
After addressing any issues that may have come up during the walk-through, and performing a thorough cleanup, there will be a Final Walk-Through of the project.
Once the home remodel is completed, you get to enjoy your newly remodeled home!
